Legends at the Legacy |
Bedford Athletic Boosters and Mule Muscle, Inc. are teaming up to present LEGENDS AT THE LEGACY on Friday, March 23, 2012.
Special Guest Speakers for this event are Coach Lloyd Carr and Coach Jerry Hanlon from the University of Michigan.
Dinner tickets have been sold out, but you may still purchase a seat to the event for $50/person. Due to the expected sellout, you will want to purchase your tickets quickly. *Must be 18 or older, and out of high school, to attend.
This fun-filled evening will kick off at 6:30 pm with Cocktails (cash bar) and a Silent Auction. Dinner is included with your ticket, and you'll have the opportunity to participate in raffles and a Live Auction throughout the night.

COACH LLOYD CARR BIO
With a career record of 122-40 in his long coaching career at the University of Michigan, Lloyd Carr has few equals. When he retired as the head coach of the Wolverines in 2007, he had five Big Ten titles and a national championship in 1997. In his 13 seasons in Ann Arbor, the Wolverines ended the year ranked in the top 20 a total of 12 times. Coach Carr graduated from Northern Michigan University after playing football and baseball for three seasons at the University of Missouri. His collegiate coaching career started as an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan, followed by Illinois and West Virginia. He was hired as an assistant coach to Bo Schembechler and continued as a defensive secondary coach and defensive coordinator under Gary Moeller from 1987 to 1994. Coach Carr was named as head coach in 1995. Since his retirement from coaching in 2007, he remained very active in charitable activities for various foundations.
COACH JERRY HANLON BIO
Coach Hanlon spent 23 seasons as an assistant coach at Michigan, arriving with Bo Schembechler in 1969. He coached the offensive line for 17 of the 23 seasons, spending six years as quarterback coach. Hanlon developed 19 all-american linemen during his tenure at Michigan. He graduated from Miami University in 1956 and coached at Dayton and Miami before moving to Michigan. He retired from coaching in 1992. |
